The 2017 SYDNEY National Memorial day ride will be held on Sunday 10th September. The ride in Sydney is being organised again by the Macarthur Branch. The ride starts at McDonalds Narellan at 10.30a.m. and concludes at the Cordeaux Dam picnic area.

There will be a short service, followed by a BBQ. Please see the attached flyer for more information



Tucker Park Paterson, Sunday 10th September
Meet at Raymond Terrace Macca’s at 9.00am for 9:30am departure.
Arrive at Tucker Park for Sausage Sizzle before the 11am service.
Pastor Matt Nichols will conduct service, followed by branch members who will speak for those that have ridden on.
Piper John Queenee will be playing.

The State wide Memorial Ride Sept 10th Sept with all Branches meeting up in Swansea, at the Swansea Bark Mill Tavern / Bakery at approximately 12.30pm.
Hobart Branch depart from the Risdon Brook Hotel at 10.00am, morning tea in Orford and lunch + meet/greet at Swansea.
Tamar Tourers usually start at 10am and ride to Longford to meet up with the N-W Branch (9.30am start)  members where they have morning tea at the Bakery before riding through Lake Leake to Swansea.
Any members from the mainland are welcome to join in the ride.

Memorial Day for South East Queensland each year is held at “The Spit” at Somerset Dam which is located approx. 109 klm’s ,from Brisbane, 106 klm’s from Toowoomba and 104 klm’s from Redcliffe so is very central o all Branches in this area.
For the memorial day this year as in previous years branches ride out to “The Spit” at Somerset Dam as individual branches, or some ride with another branch as we come in from all over S.E.Q. Not all members ride out some will drive because they are unable to ride some will camp at the am wall campground the night before others will arrive early Sunday morning to help setup and direct traffic.
Branches usually arrive by approx. 10:30am,with  the Salvo’s putting on a sausage sizzle before and after proceedings. This year a piper  will lead the gathered members to doc’s corner for the proceeding’s to begin at approx 11:00am. A message from the National President is read to those gathered, and the names of those that have ridden on are read out. We will also have (1) one minute silence after which the Ulysses song is played, proceeding are usually finished by 12:00am (noon).
Some of our members will stay at “The Spit” for lunch others will ride on the one of the local pubs to eat.
Anyone traveling from interstate or overseas is very welcome to join us for this occasion.
The WA Memorial Ride is on Sunday 10th September.
The ride departs from the  car park on the corner of  Lloyd Street and Great Eastern Highway, Midland at 10.30 sharp. For a short service at our permanent memorial at Lake Leschenaultia
Please ensure that the Entrance fee to Lake Leschenaultia is paid to the treasurer before departure to expedite the entrance to the park.

Depart Midland 10.30am
Arrive Lake Leschenaultia 11.00am
Service 11.30am
Lunch 12.00pm
The 2017 Ulysses Club Victorian Memorial Ride will be held on the 12th November this year at the Mount Macedon Memorial Cross.
As in previous years members will assemble at Centennial Park at the foot of Mt Macedon for a 12.00 departure ride up to the Cross on Mt Macedon. After gathering at the Cross there will be a short memorial service where we will pay our respects to those who have ridden on. A month prior to the ride I will e-mail you requesting the names of any members of your Branch that may have ridden on and you wish to have mentioned during the ceremony. You may wish to send names to me now. These can be forwarded to sjdraper52@bigpond.com
At the end of the ceremony we will depart and ride back to the park for a meet with other members. The purchase of soft drinks and BBQ sausages will be available courtesy of the Geelong Branch, for which we thank them for their continuing support.

MANNING VALLEY BRANCH – the Memorial Day ride is on 10th September. With members meeting at Taree Caltex Service Centre at 8.30 for a 9.00am start. Meet members from other Branches at the Hannam Vale General Store, then ride in formation to the Old Bar Tavern, where a Service will begin at 12.00noon.
