A.G.M. registrations for Townsville have just passed the 3,000 mark and the Ulysses Club Administration office advises that there are more awaiting to be processed.
Good news and good numbers considering the distance may members need to travel to attend.
Preparation is on target for what promises to be a very good A.G.M event.

The formation of the 139th Branch of the Ulysses Club Inc. to be known as Macleay Valley Branch was approved at the National Committee meeting held on the 12th April 2008.
The National Committee extend their congratulations to members of the Macleay Valley Branch and hope that members will join us in welcoming them and wishing them great success.
For anyone interested in meeting up with members of the Macleay Valley Branch they hold their bi monthly meetings at the South West Rocks Country Club at 10am on the last Sunday of the month, commencing 27th April.
Branch rides organized for the first weekend of the month depart from the BP Clybucca at 9am.

Meeting the AGM Host Committee - helena - 16-Apr-08 , 23:29:18
The National Committee held their scheduled meeting on the 12th April in Townsville where they were hosted by the AGM committee and the Townsville Branch members. They took advantage of the opportunity of a guided tour around the AGM venues and are very pleased that the Host Branch are well prepared and eagerly waiting for the arrival of the AGM.
The AGM Host Committee were invited to attend part of the National Committee meeting to deliver an up to date report and also to learn a little about the Club on a National Level. Saturday night saw members from the Townsville; Mackay; Burdekin and Cairns Branches meet for an evening of social interaction

Extended National Committee Meeting - helena - 2-Apr-08 , 21:06:36
The National Committee of the Ulysses Club Inc has extended an invitation to all Branch Presidents / Branch Leaders and Secretary’s (or up to 2 delegated representatives) to attend the Extended National Committee meeting on Friday 30th May 2008.
The Extended National Committee meeting is an official meeting of the National Committee of the Ulysses Club Inc and is an ideal opportunity for Committee representatives of each Branch to meet fellow Branch Committee members and to be involved in the processes and discussions of matters of importance pertaining to the Ulysses Club.

Goulburn Valley Branch Members meet the National Committee - helena - 12-Feb-08 , 22:13:16
The National Committee were invited to Shepparton, Victoria where the Goulburn Valley Branch hosted the National Committee meeting held on the 9th February.
Four Representatives of the Goulburn Valley Branch accepted the invitation to attend part of the all day National Committee meeting on Saturday after which not only their Branch members but also two members from Albury Wodonga and two from Bowen gathered at the local meeting venue for an evening of social interaction.
Branch members had the opportunity to meet the National Committee and their partners as well as the Riding On editor John Miller and AGM Co-ordinator Graeme Rule.
The National Committee thank members of the Goulburn Valley Branch members for hosting the meeting; for making the time to meet with them and for providing a bus to transport them from venue to venue.
A special thank you to Trevor and Karen Franklin for the hospitality they showed towards the National Committee and partners, John Miller, Graeme Rule and Riding On Publisher Gordon Barrett on Friday. Thank you also to John Hammond for showing the Natcom partners around Shepparton and Districts on Saturday.

Ladies only Rider Training. - Vic Lesslie - 4-Feb-08 , 14:06:39

LADIES ONLY Two day course at Sandown Race Track.


DAY ONE – HART TRAINING. Riding HART motorcycles the girls will learn more about braking, cornering, counter steering and many more curtail skills needed to be a confident rider on the road and on the track.

DAY TWO – HRCA TRACK DAY - SANDOWN RACEWAY. With a refresher course in the morning the ladies are then taken out on the track in small groups and get to put their skills into practice. All ladies will be able to ride at their own pace and this will be a ‘no pressure’ day to enjoy being on a race track with other ladies.

All ladies are invited, non members, non Hondas welcome. All bikes must be road worthy and registered, all participants must be over 18years of age and hold a current motorcycle licence.

Ulysses Club Germany - janbedola - 4-Dec-07 , 23:03:46
The National Committee, during its meeting in November supported the formation of Ulysses Club Germany. A letter of congratulations has been sent to Gernot and Waltrud Minig, Norbert Nofeld and Joern Heinrich. Gernot will be acting as co-ordinator. National Committee will continue to offer our German members every assistance and advice as needed and we wish Ulysses Club Germany every success with their plans to promote their new Club.
