MOREE MUSTER RIDE REPORT Friday 30 April – Sunday 2 May 2010

Eighteen members from NLHU attended the annual Moree Muster. The majority of the members rode up on Friday 30th April. Charlie and Marion, Father Larry and Julie decided to go earlier and arrived on Thursday. 

The hospitality that the Moree group showed was fantastic. Heaps of top quality food on all occasions. The weather was great on the ride up, through the weekend, and on the ride back home. 

Friday night seen a Camp Kitchen meal with a variety of dishes to feed the mob. It was a very sociable and fun night, with a few drinks and plenty of conversation.

   

Saturday was packed with bikes for the events of the day. First up was the Thunder Run down the main street and ending at the Bike Shop for coffee and cake and some good deals were had. Then off to begin the observation ride around Moree and the sites. When this was complete, a BBQ lunch was supplied. After lunch, the Ulympics took place, followed by the Show and Shine. NLH members picked up three major awards in the Show and Shine. Father Larry received two awards in the Ulympics.

 

Saturday night seen a great night of fun and mischief with plenty of entertainment and a well organized dinner and event.

Sunday, the Moree group supplied and cooked a BBQ breakfast for all. All in all a fantastic weekend with very friendly and happy go lucky people from all over. 

Look out for this event next year, and don’t miss it. It really is a great weekend.
