Ride Report – 20-11-2011

Cofffee Morning at Aqua Blue Nelson Bay Marina (Well we almost made it)

This ride was scheduled for the day after the NLH Christmas party, a great hang over cure.

The throngs assembled at Hexham Maccas, just like a club ride – this was, in my opinion a great addition.

We (all three of us) set off for Nelson Bay via Raymond Terrace etc. We had a very pleasant two hour cruise to D’Albora Marina where we stopped to see if any others were there.

After a very relaxing stroll around the marina and a conversation with the parking officers who assured us that they had never given a ticket to a motorbike, or a convertible car with the top down, our spirits were lifted and we decided to go to Halifax Park for a coffee.

This was a great choice as it was uncrowded and had plenty of parking available. After a very enjoyable coffee and break, we headed back to Newcastle again taking the long way round.

As usual a great ride, good company and wonderful riding weather.
