Day Ride - Sunday 26-6-11: BP Chisholm 9:30am

Attendees: Mark & Lorna McGavock, Shane & Debbie, Alex & Val, Mick

We all met at Chisholm BP for a 9:30am start, bikes fuelled and off we go but as always a small hitch, Alex had filled his bike with Diesel, so as Val and Alex took off round the back of the car wash bay to empty the tank of the Diesel fuel, Mick came up with a song title “Diesel in the Deville” catchy title, to add fuel to the fire (so to speak)once Alex had sorted the fuel and went to get the proper fuel, the service station attendant over the PA said” the guy with the bike make sure you use the correct fuel this time” to this we all clapped.

The ride was great, the weather was good, bit windy but we all arrived safely in Bungendore we had coffee and mick lead the way back to Canberra via the old Hume hwy.
