President's Welcome...

Welcome to the Ulysses Club Canberra Branch Website.

First, some information for you…our meetings are held every third Tuesday at 7.30pm at the Italo Australian Club on the corner of Franklin St and National Circuit, Forrest. Those of us who can, start arriving at the club earlier., to have dinner and a drink and catch up first before the meeting. After the meeting there’s time for a coffee and biscuit and a chat!

We have weekends away, Sunday rides short and long, and many of us take the opportunity to attend the Ulysses AGMs. Canberra Ulyssians travelled to the Townsville, Penrith AGM’s and recently to the AGM in Albany WA for 2010!

There are other opportunities to ride of course – the “Usual Suspects” on Wednesday and the “Tuesday Terriers” for the more sedate riders. And you don’t have to wait for an organized ride – you’ll always find another Ulysses member up for a ride!

As well as all this fun and friendship, we also spend time raising funds for worthy causes such as Snowy Southcare Hydro Helicopter service and Arthritis ACT. We also participate in the annual Cyclops event, which gives time out to carers.
