From the Penrith AGM Committee - Tony Lauer has joined the 2009 AGM Event Committee with a particular interest in the security aspects of the event. Tony is anxious to identify and speak with Ulysses members from your branch who hold security industry licenses or who have had previous involvement in the security industry and who would like to volunteer at the 2009 AGM Event. Tony’s contact details are as follows: Phone 4777 4319 Fax 4777 5064 Email tony.lauer@bigpond.com
Andrew Cambell reports that he has noticed that Get Routed have published their prices for shipping bikes to Albany WA in 2010. http://www.getrouted.com.au/AlbanyAGMshipmentspage.htm Mal is working on a flyer to remind us all to save our 5cent coins for The Toy Run
For those members who live in NSW - the following CTP Insurance info might be useful! Deb Monaghan & Kevin Sutherland have written to President Jen to advise these details.
Motorcycle Maintenance course - see Mal for details (more coming soon)
If you know someone who has trouble “seeing” motorcycles - perhaps you could send them to the NSW Motorcycle Councils adverts - Please Look Twice
Travelling this Holiday Season? - if you need a “comfort stop” - look here (National Toilet Maps)
Blast from the PAST? - our RO2 collection now includes an archive from past years - have a look here
AGM Planning - as the next two AGMs are a good distance from Canberra it might be a good idea to start making contact each other and consider planning who you might ride with there and back again. Please think about it as this will be discussed at the next meetings, and hopefully updated in the RO2 and perhaps on pages here. Some of the new members might appreciate being able to travel with others from the Branch but may not know who to ask.
So ... Please Consider, and share your thoughts at the next club meeting, or email Jen, Norm or myself.
