About Us
The Canberra Branch has about 400 members with many of them actively participating in the social and ride events that are held almost weekly. Our monthly meetings attract 70 or more members on a regular basis. The founding members of Ulysses coined the motto “Growing old disgracefully” and that is what we intend to do in the Canberra Branch.
Club members ride all types and all sizes of bikes - including scooters, cruisers, sports, and tourers. Our rides are mainly on formed roads, however, so there is very little dirt riding.
Those people not fortunate enough to be 40 and over are welcome to join us as guests on our rides and at our meetings to gain a taste of the ‘fun’ that awaits you. While those who are 40 and over can apply to become members.
If you would like to know a little more about the Canberra Branch then please feel free to have a browse through the Archives.
Canberra branch meets at the Italo Club in Forrest. Meetings start at 8pm, however many members arrive early to have an evening meal and socialise pre meeting.
The Italo Club is a recent move on the part of the Branch and further details can be found at this link.
