Planned overnight stays: Quambone, Hotel/Motel (02) 6824 2065, Louth (camping- Shindy's Inn,(02) 6874 7422), Menindee Burke & Wills Motor Inn (08) 8091 4313, Yunta(camping), Finders Ranges(camping), Whyalla, maybe Port Lincoln, arriving Streaky Bay Thursday 19 April 2012. Returning via heading north from Streaky Bay to the trans-Australia railway line then with overnight stays at Glendambo, Marree, a good spot to camp on the Birdsville track(camping), Birdsville (camping), Innamincka (camping), Noccundra (camping), Hungerford (camping), Cunnamulla, Lighting Ridge home to Scone. If all goes as planned should see us in Scone by the early afternoon of the 1st May 2012. NOTES 1. Fuel range is the biggest challenge with the largest range required being 550ks, even the mother ship will struggle. Overnights are to be Motel/Hotel and camping where necessary. I have a 4x4 dual cab ute coming along as the tea/coffee trolley and extra fuel truck. Pre-booking of limited space for extra luggage/fuel is essential. 2.
