Speakers at the Road Safety Forum in Mildura included the Chair of the Australian Motorcycle Council, Shaun Lennard, who arrived direct from presenting at the Urban Transport Conference, as well as Peter Ivanoff who gave a fantastic explanation of the BAC in his talk, “Breath Blood and Alcohol”. Vicki Sanfelipo talked about motorcycle first response first aid and managing a crash scene, as well as demonstrating helmet removal for a crashed rider, in a situation where removing the helmet would save the riders life. We were also very fortunate to have Peter McIntosh, the President of The Ulysses Club in New Zealand talk about road and rider safety issues in New Zealand how they are being addressed.
