The Memorial Ride assembled in Midland with some riders travelling 200 kilometres from Bunbury to attend. There was a coffee van in the car park that was very popular, and a few wandered over to Macca’s for a free pensioner coffee.

Macarthur Branch Memorial Day Ride 2012

After what has seemed like an inordinate stretch of wet weather, the NSW Macarthur Branch welcomed blue sky and bright sunshine for the 2012 Memorial Ride.

Memorial Day 2011: Western Australia

Memorial Day 2011: Sydney

There were nearly 300 Ulyssians in attendance, most arrived on one of the 198 bikes with just a few coming by car.

National President, Denis Paulin gave a very emotional speech and also read a letter from Stephen Dearnley who was unfortunately unable to attend. Special guests were member #3 Jack Lewin’s wife Vi and his daughters Kate and Megan.

Memorial Day 2011: Hobart, Tasmania

On Sunday 11th September S-E Tasmania suffered extremely cold, wet and gusty conditions for our annual Ulysses National Memorial Ride which unfortunately kept the attendance numbers low compared to previous years.

Five local branches, Newcastle Lower Hunter, Lake Macquarie, Hunter Coalfields, Upper Hunter and Forster, comprising over 160 members and friends joined together today to remember those of our friends who are no longer with us.
