Today there was a ride to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the first Ulysses Club ride in the Newcastle/Lake Macquarie area. The ride was organised by the Lake Macquarie Branch and was led by John Lidiard who led the ride back in 1988. Members from the Lake Macquarie Branch, the Newcastle Lower Hunter Branch, Hunter Coalfields Branch and the Woy Woy Peninsula Branch attended the ride that followed the original route through Freemans Waterhole, Ellalong, Cessnock, Singleton and finishing with a BBQ lunch at Lake St Clair. Over 40 Motorcycles took part with over 50 people attending the BBQ.
