Max Draper - Callaway Performance , Torrumbarry. VIC.- Kangan Institute of TAFE
Max was born in Melbourne and moved to Echuca Victoria with his parents Paul and Andrea, and brother Mitch, in 2005 when he was 10 years old.
He attended Moama Gramma School where he completed Year 11. On leaving school Max started a pre apprenticeship in certificate 2 in automotive studies, this led to short stints with various auto workshops until he secured an apprenticeship with Callaway Performance Developments at Torrumbarry.
Max completed his 1st year at TAFE in Echuca and subsequently travelled to Melbourne to continue and complete at Kangan in Docklands.
Max loves living in the country and enjoys all the benefits that easy access to the bush provides, motorcycle riding, camping, water skiing. He is always working on someone’s vehicle or boat.
Max likes to use the chassis dyno and engine reconditioning equipment where he is honing (pun intended) his machine shop skills. He has completed work ranging from simple services & dyno tuning through to engine machining, rebuilding of engines and full bike restorations.
He intends to stay in the industry, hoping ultimately to own and operate his own business.
