2018 AGM & International Gathering: Harrogate - Information provided by Ulysses Club Great Britain

Please note that nearly all of the 40 rooms we were allocated have already been booked, many by members from the various continental clubs who were informed of the event in July. The hotel will obviously continue to take bookings once our allocation is used up but only if they have rooms available.

We have reserved 40 rooms at Cedar Court Hotel Harrogate from Friday 6th July to Monday 9th July 2018. The hotel is a fine old 17th century building offering very pleasant accommodation with restaurant, bar and a number of beautiful function rooms. There is plenty of parking at the hotel for motorbikes.
The plan is that members will arrive on the Friday and stay for 3 nights if possible. The AGM itself will be held at 18:00 on Saturday 7th July. Rides in the Pennines and Dales will be arranged on Saturday and Sunday. Those not wishing to ride may wish to make the most of the local tourist attractions. In the evenings we will dine together at Cedar Court Hotel. (Members choosing to stay elsewhere will still be able to dine at Cedar Court Hotel with advance notice.)
The hotel has a large number of rooms but the management can only provisionally hold so many rooms until it is clearer how many members will be attending. Once the initial allocation of rooms is filled, the hotel may be able to release more rooms but there are numerous hotels nearby in Harrogate including a Premier Inn and Travel Lodge and, of course, B&Bs and Guest Houses.
Special accommodation rates
Dinner, Bed & Breakfast for two people sharing a double or twin room – £60 per person per night.
Dinner, Bed & Breakfast for one person in a double or twin room – £80 per person per night.
Reservations at the special rate
Please do not make a reservation through the hotel’s website as you will not obtain the special rate. Instead:
Contact the hotel directly by phone on 01423 858585 between 09:00 and 17:00; select 1 for Reservations; and quote ULYSSESGB Motorcycle Club booking for the nights of July 6th, 7th & 8th 2018.
Or email the hotel at bookings@cedarcourtharrogate.co.uk quoting ULYSSESGB Motorcycle Club booking for the nights of July 6th, 7th &-8th 2018.
Please note: Credit/debit card details will be needed to make the reservation. Payment will then be taken on your checkout from the hotel. (Cancellation: If you wish to cancel the booking, contact the hotel more than 7 days before your day of arrival or your card will be charged.)
Please book for the number of nights you wish to stay. It is hoped that as many members as possible will stay for the 3 nights. There is considerable interest from other European clubs attending this international meeting so make sure you book early!
Camping
There is a local campsite for those who would prefer to camp. We will provide transport to and from the campsite. The details below are also on the forum. Obviously members may prefer to make their own arrangements for accommodation in Harrogate.
