Steven Boyle is the 2016 MAOTY Zone winner for WA / SA.

Steven John Boyle born the 16/6/89 now aged 27 has been with this company for the last    3 1/2years since the 8th July 2013. He is married with 2 beautiful little girls (4 & 2 years).
Steven was born in the Midland District Hospital (not far from Perth) and grew up north of the river. He attended the local schools of the area and his high school was John Forrest Senior High School, so he is a well and truly local lad.
After high school he started work as a tyre fitter which lasted for 1 year, he then tried other occupations briefly however he was offered a trainingship by Beaumont Tyres in there Auto Tyre Fitting Division which lasted for 3 years.  He was then employed by Tip Top Bakery as a machine operator for approximately for 5 years but he found this unrewarding and it made him realise that this was not what he wanted to do with the rest of his life.
Steve then went around the motor cycle industry enquiring about a adult apprenticeship and was fortunately in the right place at the right time when he approached us at JCS Motor Cycles. He is now coming to the end of his apprenticeship and in that time he has been awarded “Apprentice of the Year” with Tafe. He has always enjoyed his time at Tafe with his teacher Jason Hoesle and found the time spent in the class environment helpfully, especially as an adult and understanding that it is a career opportunity.
Steven loves motorcycling in general and rides off road at any given chance but with such a young family he finds little free time on his hands to do this. He has owed a couple of bikes such as a Yamaha R1 and a WR250 trail but his current bike is a Triumph Sprint 955cc.
His further goals are to consolidate his learning of the industry and the technology to keep up to date with all the different models constantly arriving.
If Steven should be lucky enough to win the State division of the award, he will be grateful of the opportunity to have some new tools (as money is very tight with such a young family). He realises that to win the Australian award would be a dream come true and understands that it will help future employment opportunities when the time arises.
Whilst Steven has been with us at JCS Motorcycles he has enjoyed working on a variety of bikes, trikes, sidecars etc that comes our way. In the last 18 months JCS has been awarded Best National Dealer by Triumph UK, worldwide which also reflects on the excellent service carried out by the workshop. Steve enjoys the company of the 6 other experienced tradesmen on the premises, but never relies on them to take over a problem encountered.
