Patrick Deady is the 2016 MAOTY Zone winner for VIC / TAS.
Born in 1997, Patrick grew up in Pakenham Victoria which was at the time a fringe suburb of Melbourne.  From an early age we worked weekends and holidays in his father’s engineering business where he learned the basic and essential skills required to work with tools and machinery.  This obviously extended to motorbike repairs and maintenance
Pat’s father had been a life-long motorbike enthusiast and got him riding before he even went to school.  To this day they often enjoy riding together.
He attended Berwick Secondary school where he participated the VCAL programme with an Electrician company.  However no long-term position was available so he shifted his focus to motorcycles.
Deciding not to return to school Pat decided to look for a job in the motorcycle industry and quickly secured an apprenticeship at Frankston Yamaha.  After 12 months an opportunity came up to move across to Freestyle Honda and he moved over at the end of 2014.
Since joining the company Pat has developed his skills and become an integral part of the team.  Not only does he handle just about any job in the workshop; he also runs the reception on many weekends.
We are very pleased to have Part with us.  He is a very genuine young man completely reliable and we hope to have him with us for many years to come.
